New Year’s Mindfulness Meditation Retreat

A four-day immersion in stillness, reflection, and renewal.

Transition into the new year with a 3-night residential meditation retreat here on the farm. This mostly silent retreat combines classic Vipassana (“insight”) meditation with Jewish ritual, song, and contemplative practices that support the cultivation of concentration, inner calm, and mental clarity.

All are welcome, regardless of experience with Jewish tradition or mindfulness. Daily meditation instruction will be provided along with time for additional teachings and Q&A.

This retreat begins at 11:00 AM on Thursday, Jan 1 and ends at 11:00 AM on Sunday, Jan 4.

FAQ

Find the answers to the most frequently asked questions about my work. If your question isn't listed, please feel free to contact me directly.

How do we know if we're a good fit?

We begin with a relaxed, complimentary conversation about your goals and challenges. I’ll share my approach, and we’ll do a short coaching session so you can experience what working together feels like. There’s no pressure—if it’s a good fit, you’ll know.

Who do you typically work with?

I work primarily with senior leaders in the fields of climate change and progressive politics.

What challenges do clients typically bring to a coaching session?

Clients often come to coaching feeling stretched, overloaded, or stuck—despite being deeply committed to meaningful work. Common themes include navigating high-stakes leadership decisions, managing stress and burnout, communicating more effectively, leading through complexity and change, and finding greater clarity, ease, and alignment in how they lead and live.

Is everything we discuss confidential?

Everything we discuss is confidential. When coaching is sponsored by your organization, we’ll jointly develop a Coaching Priority Plan to share with your supervisor or board, and you’ll provide a short closing report summarizing outcomes. The content of our sessions remains private.
